To All Mini Racers,
Hopefully you are all keeping them garages warm while working
on the bikes after the coldest week of the year with temps
in the Zeros. The 2007 Schedule has been Released. We are
combing a weekend of racing during Race #6 and Race #7 making
it a Double Header weekend to accommodate the people that
are driving far distances to race.
The Streets of Beloit Race is marked on the Calendar as Race
#5 and more information will be out closer to that race weekend.
Stay tuned for this race as the information and format will
be released when we have more information.
Practice sessions will be the same as last year, 2nd and 4th
Thursdays of each month. They will start with the 4th Thursday
in April. This will be our Test and Tune Night before the
first Race of the season. Remember that race rules apply during
the practice nights and that all bikes that ride on the track
must meet the rules and requirements of safety.
There was some questions on the Rules posted. To help clarify
the super modified class that is categorized with the big
wheel class. You MUST meet the CC's requirements and NOT exceed
them. The wheel size states that you can run ANY size wheel
in that class and this is the only class you have no restrictions
on wheel size. If you have any questions ever feel free to
email me.
Lets keep this year exciting and fun!

What is Mini Motard Maniacs?
An organized group of motorcycle enthusiasts with a passion
for little wheels and low horse power, which is best experienced
through the littler (kids) bikes. Like many other mini riders
we started out by thrashing XR100's and TTR125's in a farm
field. After the dust would clear all you could see was smile
after smile. The fun factor is incredible, the competition
is close and the day is never long enough.
With all the fun we have had in the dirt we thought the next
best thing would be asphalt. So we called a local go-Kart
racing facility and asked if they would let a mini motorcycle
race around their track. After a few hours of testing and
much to or amazement the owner said sure.
This has lead to the creation of Mini Motard Maniacs, a group
of thirty plus racers (and growing) putting bars together
and rubber to the pavement with the same wide smiles seen
out in the farm field.
If you have a passion for motorcycles and are curious about
the mini culture we invite you out to see this madness for
yourself. View the schedule for race and exhibition location/times.
Where do we ride?

The track is ideal for the mini or play bike. It is a tight
and technical track with one long straight, the straight being
more like 2 straights connected by a full-out Brainerd-type
turn one. There is almost every type of turn imaginable in
this course, with a wicked "S", a couple of hairpins
and some nice switch-back and decreasing radius thrillers.
There are passing areas all over the place and overall, you
will get a heck of a work-out running this course!
The facilities are excellent as well. There is hot food available,
indoor bathrooms with running water and a large pit and staging
area. The track personnel are super helpful and have treated
us like kings
